We are committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website and users of our services. Information you provide
When you contact us, request materials such as a free map, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you submit — for example your name, work email address, company name, role, and any details you include in your message. With your message we also receive the page you sent it from and, if you arrived through a campaign link (for example in a newsletter), the name of that link. Nothing is stored on your device to do this.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and the dates and times of access.
Business and service information
In the course of providing our services to a customer, we may process business information provided by that customer or its authorized users.

We use the information we collect to:

- Send you product news and updates, only if you ask for them; you can stop them at any time
- Maintain the security and integrity of our website and services

- Service providers. We use a small number of service providers: Vercel (website hosting and aggregate, cookie-free visitor statistics), Formspree (our contact form) and Google Workspace (email). They may use information only as necessary to provide their services to us.
- Legal and compliance. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4 Data storage and international transfer
Information we collect is stored and processed in Canada and the United States, where our service providers operate. Where information is transferred outside your jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of the country in which it is held, including lawful access by courts and authorities there. We rely on our contracts with these providers to keep it protected.
5 Cookies and similar technologies
We do not currently use cookies. As of the effective date above, this website sets no cookies, no local storage, and no similar identifiers on your device, and runs no third-party advertising or tracking scripts. Our analytics provider reports aggregate page views without setting cookies and without building a profile of individual visitors. Because nothing is stored on your device, no cookie consent banner is needed at present. If we introduce cookies or similar technologies in future, we will update this Policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie.
6 Data retention
We keep enquiries and the correspondence that follows for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer or you become a customer, in which case our agreement with you governs. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8 Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent to its use. To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer using the details below; we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec if you are in Quebec, or to the data protection authority where you live or work if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages.
9 Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
